3. Project Management

Topics to be discussed in this section:
Project cloning.
Public projects. How to make a project public? How to download an existing project?.
Asset inventory.

Project cloning

From the central panel, we can identify our project and from there access the possibility of making an exact copy of the project in its same profile (as long as the membership conditions allow it):

The cloned project will take the same name as the original by default with a “- Cloned” but you can change the name whenever you want.

Public projects. How to make a project public? How to download an existing project?

In RECIN, it’s possible to share a project so that other users of the platform can view and download it. This way, they can create a cloned project on their own profiles, allowing them to learn or work on it. The idea behind public projects is to share projects they’ve worked on with the CCI user community (which is why it’s important not to include confidential information in them). This way, they can create real architectures that can be studied by different people in different circumstances.

To make a project public within RECIN, simply access the platform’s central panel and select the corresponding icon:

Select whether you want to make it public, add the corresponding description that will be displayed to all users of the platform, and select whether you want to publish the project anonymously or under your name and that of your company or organization (which you can also modify):

Once you’ve pressed the «Save» button, if you want to view existing public projects, you can access them from the central panel by pressing the «Public Projects» button. Upon accessing the project, you’ll see general information about the project, such as its name, the description with which it was shared, the author (whether they chose to share their information or simply anonymous if they don’t), the sector and type of project. You can also download the report, the inventory, or add the public project to your project list (as long as your membership allows it):

Asset inventory

In RECIN, you can download a project’s inventory in a comma-separated file (.csv format). There you can find the facilities created, the zones and conduits belonging to each facility, the components defined for each zone and for each duct with their criticality levels in terms of integrity, confidentiality and availability, and also the defined quantities and levels of the Purdue model to which each component belongs.
To download a project’s inventory within RECIN, simply access the platform’s central panel and select the corresponding icon:
